A lovely day out in london today sourcing new stock for Hispanic Antiques with much of the day being spent in New Bond Street viewing the Old Masters Auctions at both Sotheby’s and Bonhams. The highlight item for myself was this stunning carving attributed to Jan Borman of the Angel of the Annunciation circa 1480. Further to this was the fine exhibition of Spanish panel paintings at Sam Fogg’s gallery in Clifford Street – a must for any connoisseur of Gothic Art.
