A business weekend in Valencia has given Hispanic Antiques the opportunity to visit the greatest collection of Spanish ceramics in the world and, quite possibly, one of the greatest entrances to a museum. With a diverse selection of bowls, plates and tiles ranging from 10th century Islamic earthenware through the golden age of Hispano-Moresque lustreware of Manises and Paterna right up to ‘modern’ Picasso pieces. The bowl on the bottom left is very similar to the Hispano-Moreque bowl we have as part of our stock HA0020 with a maltese cross as the central boss decoration.
