A beautiful low Spanish Walnut table dating to the late 17th century. The single piece top has a fabulous patina with a rich deep colour that stands above three frieze drawers each with incised decoration and original triangular iron knopped handles.

The A-frame supports to the table and the decoration to the drawers mark this table to be a country piece possibly Aragon / Catalonia . Despite it's 'country' origin however this is not a folk piece of furniture as the quality of timber and craftsmanship testify. In the period or modern home this table will sit perfectly as a side table and is the ideal height as a coffee table.
