A fine bronze Chessman type seal matrix with the motif of a nimbate Mary Magdalene holding her attribute, the pot of salve with which she anointed Christ's feet. The surrounding script reads *MARIAM AGDALE and the seal is accompanied with a museum quality impression. Probably ecclesiastical in origin.
